Winter Gray Coverage Tips
2024.09.18
Hello everyone, today I want to delve into the issue of poor gray coverage during the winter and provide some practical solutions.
As winter arrives, indoor temperatures are noticeably lower than in summer, which directly affects hair dye results. We can't use summer conditions to assess winter dyeing outcomes, so special measures are needed to ensure success.
Firstly, using plastic wrap to cover the hair is crucial. It helps retain heat and prevents the dye from evaporating quickly, enhancing the coloring effect.
Secondly, maintaining the salon's room temperature is essential. If the temperature is too low, the dye's activity is affected, leading to uneven or poor results. If the room isn't warm enough, consider heating for an additional 10-15 minutes to ensure the dye's chemical reaction proceeds smoothly.
Thirdly, since the dye for covering gray hair has concentrated pigments, pay special attention to the ratio of developer to dye. A 1:1 ratio is recommended to enhance coverage and ensure even, long-lasting color.
By adjusting and optimizing these three aspects, I believe everyone can easily tackle gray coverage issues, even in winter. I hope these tips help you achieve a satisfying dyeing experience.
