- Use dye and developer. The ratio is 100g of dye to 50g of developer. This increases the pigment and prevents "hot roots."
- Add 2-0. The ratio is 1% to 3%. When applying to the roots, add 1% to 3% of 2-0 to increase pigment content, reduce lifting ability, and effectively prevent "hot roots."
If "hot roots" have already occurred, here's how to correct them:
Since the hair has already been dyed once and contains artificial pigment, directly covering it may not work well. Therefore, choose a base color 1 level darker than the mid-lengths. For example, if the roots are a level 5, select a darker base color when correcting the roots.
